Comparative Course Questions
Q. How does FAMILY LAW 101 differ from NUTS & BOLTS?
A. FAMILY LAW 101 is basic only. NUTS & BOLTS incorporates the law into law office management, understanding clients, best use of staff and preparation for the contested OSC. The two courses are complementary.
Q. How does FAMILY LAW 101 differ from the seven-day ADVANCED FAMILY LAW COURSE given every two years just before the CFLS exam?
A. It is basic. FAMILY LAW 101 assumes little or no background in family law and it concentrates on kids, support, property and basic procedures. This class lays the groundwork for the AFLC and FLRC seminars.
Q. How does FAMILY LAW 101 differ from the annual two-day winter update?
A. Unlike the update (FAMILY LAW REFRESHER COURSE), it is not designed for experienced specialists. And unlike the update class, it is not limited to recent developments; rather, it lays the groundwork for understanding other family law courses.
